WAUPACA, Wis. (AP) — Sheriff’s officials say a bicyclist has died in a collision with a semi in Waupaca County.
The crash happened about 7 a.m. Friday on Hwy. 45 near Church Road in the Town of Lebanon. The 51-year-old man who was struck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have identified the victim as Kevin P. Young.
Sheriff’s officials say Young was riding north on the highway while the semi tractor trailer was traveling south. The crash remains under investigation.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the State Patrol and New London police and fire departments.
