One person is dead after the UTV he was driving Thursday rolled over, pinning him beneath the vehicle, according to police.
The crash, at the Camp Holiday Campground in Boulder Junction, was reported at 3:14 p.m. Thursday by a 911 caller.
Staff at the campground used a tractor to lift the UTV off the driver, then performed CPR until rescue crews arrived, authorities said. The driver was transported to Howard Young Medical Center in Minocqua but died en route.
The name and age of the victim have not yet been released. The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department and DNR are investigating the crash.
