The Badger State Games’ Summer Games continue this weekend with skateboarding and mountain biking. Competitors who medal are eligible to compete in the State Games of America taking place in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Here’s what’s coming up this weekend:

Mountain Biking: Thunderdown in the Underdown

A continuation of the BSG 2019 Race Series, endurance mountain bike racers head to Gleason for the annual Thunderdown in the Underdown. This is a 33-mile single track loop that passes four lakes and consists of five bermed boardwalks and 70 hills. Racers have the option of competing solo or duo in one, two or three laps. This event is a Wisconsin Endurance Mountain Bike Series Event sanctioned by Badger State Games. Find more details at wemseries.com/hundred-down-in-the-underdown.

Onsite registration is available at Central Board Shop on Third Street in Wausau. There will be a free skate before and after the competition. More details available at www.visitwausau.com/bsgskateboarding.
