WAUSAU — MCDEVCOo’s GEAR Center will host is second pop-up shops event from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 28 at 1415 Merrill Ave, Suite 140, Wausau.
Pop-up shops give entrepreneurs, online and small businesses in Marathon County the opportunity to experiment with products and services at a low risk/cost to them.
The Aug. 28 event will feature These Hands Massage, Zija International, Soul Shine Healing & Creation, Rebecca P. Photography, Middle Grounds, Pho 76, a local artist, executive cleaning, Roberts PT, Wraggs Welding, Sunrider International, Jessica Kopecky Design, Paint & Wine Party, Ruby Shine, Comet Creek Family Wellness, BSA Girls Troop, Pampered Chef and Wireless Express.
Pop-up shops can make significant profits along with building their client base. They help build momentum, as the pop-up itself is not the end goal. The objective of the event is to give the business brand a boost as the entrepreneur/business owner prepares for normal retail mode and/or opening a new brick and mortar establishment.
