WAUSAU — Peoples State Bank has promoted Seth Wage to commercial banker, the community bank announced in mid August.
Wage will work with current and new commercial customers to provide flexible lending programs and deposit solutions to advance their businesses. He will be based at the bank’s 1905 Stewart Ave. location in Wausau.
Wage spent a summer as a customer service representative intern for Peoples in 2016. He was hired as a personal banker in the retail banking line later that year. In 2017, Wage moved into the credit department to learn the technical aspects of commercial loan underwriting.
“During his time in the credit department, Seth developed a very good understanding of commercial banking,” said Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Group Leader Pat Heier in a news release. “With his energy and drive he’s ready for the move to the commercial banking team.”
The Wausau native earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from University of Wisconsin – Superior.
