WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW

My name is Hugh and I’m a little dog with a big personality.

I arrived at the shelter a little lost, plenty scared and in need of a nail trim. For the first few days that I was here I didn’t leave my dog bed; I didn’t know what to make of this place or these new people and I was afraid they wouldn’t love me. You should see me now!

In time I realized that this was a chance for me to start again and the love from shelter staff has helped me to let my guard down and my quirky personality come out! I am still shy of meeting new people but I have so much more confidence now.

And of course, in typical Chihuahua fashion, I think I am bigger and better than every dog I meet (but I’m working on it)! Staff have helped me realize that I am a special boy and I am just as deserving of love as the next shelter dog is and once you meet me, you’ll see it’s true.
