WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW
WDEZ-101.9 FM Radio on Saturday held the organization’s second annual kickball tournament in Wausau, an effort to raise funds for St. Jude.
The event was held at Athletic Park and was sponsored by WDEZ and American Family Insurance – Jonnee Bauer Agency. In all, 16 teams participated, said Chandra Lynn.
The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay, according to the St. Jude website.
