Gymnasts will compete this weekend in the Badger State Games’ Summer Games in Brookfield. Athletes of all ages and abilities compete for gold, silver and bronze medals. Those who medal, are then eligible to compete in the State Games of America taking place in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Here’s what’s coming up this weekend.
Gymnastics
Gymnasts compete in tumbling, bars, balance beam and more. Previously hosted in the Wausau area, the event is being held at Wild Card Gymnastics. Registration is closed, but spectators are welcome. More details available at www.visitwausau.com/summergymnastics.

Levels 5-9 at 8:15 a.m.
Levels 2-4 at 10:55 a.m.
