RIB MOUNTAIN — The Caring Tree will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate a new location for the business at 4 p.m. Sept. 10 at 2804 Rib Mountain Drive.

The Caring Tree offers art- and animal-assisted therapy for children and families of all ages. The clinic’s focus is on improving the overall wellness for children and parents who are experiencing post-trauma, mood disorders and adjustment issues. The organization’s unique counseling service uses various art materials, play therapy and animals.

“We want every child and family to be able to live life to its fullest and be prepared to meet the challenges along their journey,” said Trena Loomans, co-owner and director of clinical operations at The Caring Tree, in a Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce news release.
