WAUSAU — CenterStage Band and Show Choir will go “Back to the ’80s” at the historic Grand Theater in downtown Wausau in late September.

Free performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 26, 27 and 28.

This unique performance group, directed by Joel Freiberg, is made up of central Wisconsin singers, dancers and musicians who are ranging in age from 20 to 80.

The Friends of CenterStage program offers audience members an even better viewing experience. A $25 donation to CenterStage gives you two VIP tickets and two prize drawing entries. A $100 donation gives you up to eight VIP tickets, eight prize drawing entries, two drink tickets, and a CenterStage gift bag. VIP tickets also allow for early entry into the theater.

The public can pick up free tickets for “Back to the ’80s” at several area businesses and the Grand Theater in advance or at the door the nights of the performances.
