WAUSAU — The seventh annual United Way Community Fest will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 21 in the exhibition building at Marathon Park on Stewart Avenue in Wausau.
This free, family friendly event features sculptures made from food, crafts and games, children’s activities and a climbing area for kids.
This year’s event features more than a dozen sculptures made of non-perishable food items. Attendees can make monetary donations and/or donate non-perishable food items to vote on their favorite sculpture made of food. All proceeds raised benefit the Marathon County Hunger Coalition to help fill Marathon County’s food pantries.
