One man is dead and a second man is injured following a single vehicle rollover Sunday in the Waupaca County town of Lebanon, police say.

The crash, on Hwy. T at Nicolai Road, was reported just before 6 p.m. by a 911 caller. Police say a southbound pickup driven by 24-year-old Cord Guyette, of Bear Creek, missed a turn, causing the vehicle to overturn before coming to rest in a ditch. Guyette was extricated from the truck and transported by helicopter to a Neenah hospital, police said.

A passenger in Cord Guyette’s pickup, 25-year-old Cory Guyette, also of Bear Creek, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, according to police.

Wisconsin State Patrol responded to complete a traffic crash reconstruction. The Waupaca County Highway Department assisted with traffic control and detouring traffic. Waupaca Mobil Travel Center assisted with removal of the vehicle.

No further information is being released at this time while the investigation is still ongoing.
