Crews from at least three fire departments on Tuesday responded to a report of a blaze at a large garage fire and have shut down a portion of Hwy. 153 in the town of Cleveland near County M and Maywood Drive.
Heavy black smoke was pouring from the garage, which was engulfed in flames as of 3:55 p.m. Preliminary scanner reports indicate all residents in the attached home are accounted for.
Crews from Stratford, Edgar, Mosinee and McMillian initially responded to the blaze. Additional units were called in minutes after the first call was received.
This is a developing story and will be updated as additional details are released. There’s no word yet on what caused the blaze.
