EAU CLAIRE – Annaliese Wagers turned in the top individual performance for Wausau West with a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Husky Invitational hosted by Eau Claire North on Saturday.

Wagers, who also placed sixth in 200 individual medley (2:36.86), helped West finish sixth in the eight team meet with 120 points. Rice Lake captured the team championship with 302.

Emma Steinbeck contributed a fifth-place showing in the 100 freestyle (1:03.29) while Madyson Olson wound up sixth in 100 backstroke (1:13.93).

In addition, the Warriors performed well in the relay events with Steinback, Olson, Carmin Wipperfurth and Lillie Sunby combining to place fifth in the 400 freestyle relay (4:16.7).
