Spooktacular Non-Scary Halloween Event Help Needed. On Saturday, Oct. 19, from 5-7:30 p.m., the Mead Wildlife Area is holding an event that is combined with a food drive. Turkey Trot Volunteers. Come out on Thanksgiving Day and be a part of the Tenth Eastbay Turkey Trot event that supports the Marathon County Hunger Coalition. A variety of volunteer roles are available. The biggest need is for course marshalls along the route.
