Bradford J. Seehafer, 49, appeared Sept. 30 in Marathon County Circuit Court, where Reserve Judge Thomas Caine ordered a $5,000 bond, the first $1,000 of which must be paid in cash. Court documents show he was previously convicted of alcohol-related driving offenses in 1992, 1996, 1997, 2002, and in June 2019.

Crews were called at 4:45 p.m. Sept. 27 to an address on Hwy. 97 in the town of McMillan for a report of a tractor rollover. Bradford allegedly admitted to driving the tractor into the ditch, causing it to roll over. Bradford allegedly refused all field sobriety and breath testing, but was transported to Marshfield Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. A deputy obtained a search warrant for a chemical test of Bradford’s blood, the results of which are pending.

Bradford was transported to the Marathon County Jail after his release from the hospital. A family member removed the tractor from the scene.

Court records show Bradford is free Monday afternoon after posting his cash bond. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 31.
