WOODRUFF – Aspirus is adding to its health care services in Wisconsin’s Northwoods by expanding its Woodruff clinic by 4,100 square feet, Aspirus announced today.

The $1.8 million expansion will allow Aspirus to provide expanded care for patients and deliver a broader continuum of care.

“We are very excited to announce this expansion and our continued investment in the Woodruff community,” said Matthew Heywood, president and chief executive officer of Aspirus, in a news release. “Aspirus continues to see an increase in patient demand, and this expansion allows us to respond to this growth in our mission to improve the health of our communities.”

The Woodruff clinic currently offers primary care, lab services, radiology, mammography mobile imaging, gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

This expansion builds on Aspirus’ commitment to the region. The health care system recently announced a $14 million, 22,000-square-foot addition to the Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic.

Aspirus currently employs 10 people at the Woodruff clinic and expects to add another seven jobs to the community once the new addition is complete and fully occupied.
