STEVENS POINT– The Wausau West Warriors suffered a 33-14 loss to the SPASH Panthers to fall to 1-7 on the season.

SPASH jumped out to a 24-0 lead at halftime and never looked back.

Colton Geurink ran for two touchdowns for West, one from nine yards out and the other from one yard out.

Both of Geurink’s scores came in the fourth quarter.

Geurink gained 87 yards on 25 carries to lead the Warriors.

SPASH’s Cooper Behnke led all rushers with 101 yards.  Behnke scored twice, and Riley Warzynski had two touchdown passes for SPASH.

West will finish up the season next week as they host Wisconsin Rapids.

Antigo 21, Wausau East 14

WAUSAU– The Lumberjacks lost their fifth consecutive game on Friday as Antigo picked up a 21-14 win.

East got a 18-yard touchdown pass from Matt Heinrich to Sam Moses as well as a three-yard touchdown run by Donovan Leverette.

East falls to 3-5 on the year and will finish up the season next week against Lakeland.
