A local contractor working on the Thomas Street road reconstruction is seeking the return of several items that have been taken from the project site.
A power sprayer, generator and plate compactor have all been reported missing over the past few weeks, according to a contractor’s representative. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at more than $4,200.

Anyone with information is urged to contact local police or call Marathon County Crime Stoppers at 877-409-8777. Tips can also be submitted online. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
