The following significant incidents were reported to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department for the week ending Oct. 14, 2019:

A 43-year-old Tomahawk woman was arrested Monday afternoon for bail jumping. Deputies went to a home in the Town of Russell after receiving a report of a woman drinking in violation of a misdemeanor bond in Lincoln County Court.

A 33-year-old Merrill man was injured after a single motorcycle crash Tuesday morning in the Town of Rock Falls. The driver was transported to Aspirus Wausau Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 57-year-old Merrill man was arrested Tuesday night for violating the terms of his probation. Deputies found the man at a hotel after 911 operators traced numerous calls from the subject.

A 27-year-old Wausau man will be referred to the Lincoln County District Attorney on a felony charge of substantial battery. The charge is the result of an altercation in the Lincoln County Jail.

Tomahawk firefighters and deputies responded to a chimney fire Thursday night in the Town of Bradley. No injuries were reported.

A 50-year-old Tomahawk man was arrested Friday evening for violating the terms of his probation.

A 49-year-old Tomahawk man was arrested Sunday evening on charges related to a disturbance in the Town of Tomahawk. He was brought to the Lincoln County Jail on charges of disorderly conduct and violating the terms of his probation.

One person was injured after a single vehicle crash Sunday morning on US Hwy 51 near County Rd D at 8:20am. Traffic was restricted on the southbound side for about half an hour. The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash.

A 24-year-old Merrill man was arrested Saturday afternoon on a warrant charge of failure to pay fines.

Eleven people reported striking deer this past week. A bear cub was found struck by a vehicle Tuesday night near Tomahawk on US Hwy 51.
