Who is the most handsome almost-5-year-old Chow Chow mix hoping to find a new place to call home? I am!

My name is Pepper, and I’m temporarily calling the shelter my home because as the child in my last home became more mobile, I became more uncomfortable.

Shelter life has been a little hard for me to adjust to, but the staff here have been helping me along until I can find someone just like you. I’ve been working hard on my manners and learning how to be the very best boy I can be.

I have a lot of things going for me other than my good looks. I’m smart, I get along well with other pets: dogs, cats and rabbits, to be exact! And, I promise I’ll love you more you can possibly imagine.

I can be a little shy around men, but if you can be patient I’ll work on that, too. Won’t you come meet me soon?
