WESTON — Wausau Metro Strong will hold a memorial dedication in October to honor the victims and the families of the victims of a fatal shooting in the Wausau area in March 2017. The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 16 at Kennedy Park on Jelinek Avenue in Weston.
The memorial will be dedicated to the late Dianne Look, Karen Barclay, Sara Quirt Sann and Det. Jason Weiland.
Wausau Metro Strong was formed following the 2017 shooting and is committed to building a safe community for all. The pillars of this volunteer group are to unify, prepare, support, inform and educate people in our community.
