This year, officers from Wausau Police Department, Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, and Everest Metro Police Department who participate in 10K With a Cop will partner with students and school staff with the goal of having the students, along with the officers, complete a 10K race in May 2020.

Kick-off training event details:

-South Mountain Elementary: 3:45 p.m. Oct. 17
-John Marshall Elementary: 3:45 p.m. Oct. 21
-Lincoln Elementary: 3:45 p.m. Oct. 22
-GD Jones Elementary: 3:45 p.m. Oct. 30

The program began last year in partnership with the Wausau and D.C. Everest school districts. Three additional Wausau elementary schools will be added to the program this year.
