Renee Hodell of the village of Weston was recognized with the Ambassador of the Year Award.
In addition, the chamber introduced its new chairperson, Darrell Lentz of Aspirus, while recognizing its outgoing chairperson Jeannie Worden of Northcentral Technical College.
“Looking ahead to 2019-2020, the chamber, along with partner stakeholders, will continue to lead the region forward in implementing the goals outlined in the new economic development plan for the region.” said Dave Eckmann, President/CEO of the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce, in a news release. “Our organization will continue to serve as the unique connecting piece for the community between business, education, government and nonprofits.”
