Emergency crews responded Sunday to a report of a 38-year-old man who was discovered trapped under a heavy trailer at a town of Rib Falls property.
A 911 caller alerted dispatchers after discovering the man, who was unconscious but still breathing when he was found. Crews from Edgar, Marathon and Hamburg were paged at about 10:30 a.m. to the scene, on the corner of Hwy. 107 and Bearskin Trail in the town of Rib Falls.
A medical helicopter was summoned to the scene and transported the victim to Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
The caller was unsure how long the man, who was home alone and was last spoken to on Saturday, had been pinned underneath the trailer.
The name of the victim and his current condition have not been released.
