The Wausau Nordic Ski Club has opened its registration for the club’s annual Active Backwoods Retreat bus trip to the Ironwood, Michigan, area for early season skiing on Dec. 7.
The trip includes a bus ride, snacks and coffee on the bus ride to ABR, a traditional Yooper lunch of pasties and some more refreshments for the ride back. There is also a dinner stop at Little Bohemia which will be at your own cost.

Trip date: Dec. 7. Alternate trip date is Dec. 14 and is dependent on snow conditions at ABR.
Bus pickup:
John Muir Middle School, Stewart Avenue, Wausau
Departure: Load and board bus around 6:30-6:45 a.m. Bus leaves at 7 a.m.
Return: Around 9:30 p.m.

Members: $52
Nonmembers: $67
Youth members: $25
Youth nonmembers: $30
