The Wausau Symphonic Band will present its fall concert “Band Classics!” on Nov. 17 under the direction of Patrick Lawrence. The concert takes place at 4 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church of Wausau, 406 Grant St.
The concert will include a variety of classic works, exploring the roots of the modern symphonic band, including the lyrical flourishes of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Folk Song Suite” and Frank Erickson’s “Air for Band.”
Tickets are available at the door: $15 for adults, $10 for seniors. Children younger than 18 and students with ID are free.
