Drivers are urged not to travel Wednesday morning due to treacherous road conditions that led to dozens of crashes, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies out on the road are reporting poor road conditions.
“If you do not need to travel this morning, please stay home and allow the plows that are out room to address the roads,” a department Facebook post reads. “If you do need to travel please exercise caution, slow down, and allow yourself extra time to reach your destination.”
Drivers who do need to travel are reminded to move over when encountering deputies, crashes, and wreckers.
