WAUSAU — Wausau’s holiday parade will soon float down Stewart Avenue and make its way into downtown Wausau.
On Dec. 6, the parade begins at 6:30 p.m. at Marathon Park, moves east toward downtown and arrives at the 400 Block at about 7 p.m. The tree on the 400 Block will be lit for the first time following the parade and a warming party, featuring Santa, music, hot chocolate and cookies, will be held at the Great Hall on Fourth Street.
Candy will be handed out by parade walkers this year.
