WAUSAU– The Wausau East Girl’s basketball team beat Antigo Friday 52-50. Elizabeth Boulanger led the charge with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Lumberjacks. Maddie Krueger added 14 points, including a 4-6 effort from three point land.
Gabby Braatz contributed eight points for East.

The Lumberjacks got a 35-point effort from Gabe Krueger to pick up a non-conference win over the Cardinals.
Ben Cayley added 30 points for the Lumberjacks.
Wausau West 68, Ashland 61
West got 27 points from Peter Fuchs and 15 from Max Helke to pick up a post-Thanksgiving victory on Friday night.
Helke hit four of West’s five three pointers on the night.
Amillion Buggs and Jacob Rapp each added nine points for the Warriors.
Kevon Powell led Ashland with 20 points. Alec Lindberg added 13.

Girls Hockey
Storm 2, Eau Claire 2
At the Gobbler Tournament in Mosinee, the Storm won a shootout 4-3 against the Stars to advance to the championship game where they will square off against Hayward on Saturday.
The Storm got two goals in the first period– one from Sami Federici and the second from Macy Stepan.
Stepan’s goal was assisted by Trinity Foster and Kassidy Oliva.
Katrina Fredrickson recorded 18 total saves.
