Drivers can expect continuing snowfall and hazardous travel conditions Thursday, with up to seven inches of snow expected  in central and northern Wisconsin.

A winter storm advisory is in effect for Marathon County until 6 p.m. Thursday as snow continues to fall throughout the area.

According to the National Weather Service, accumulations of 3 to 7 inches are expected north of a Wisconsin Rapids to Kewaunee line, with the heaviest snow over far northeast Wisconsin. Snowfall totals will decrease farther south. Road and air travel may become hazardous, especially from mid morning through mid afternoon.

The snow may be heavy at times this morning through mid-afternoon.

Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution while traveling. Remember to allow extra time for the morning and evening commute. The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
