Crews from at least three agencies are responding to a fully involved structure fire Friday morning in the town of Marshfield, according to initial scanner reports.
The blaze was reported at about 11:10 a.m. on Mill Creek Avenue near CTH A. Wood County requested mutual aid to respond to the blaze.
Crews are calling for manpower and tankers for a defensive attack on the blaze. A defensive approach is typically chosen to isolate or stabilize an incident to ensure it does not get any worse, fire officials say.
There’s no word yet on injuries or what may have caused the blaze.
