Wausau Nordic Ski Club’s Snowstriders will offer a five-week ski program for children ages 4-9 beginning in January.
Children will be given the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of cross-country skiing with the primary goal of having fun on the snow. Using a game-based structure, adult coaches encourage each child to explore and develop his or her ski skills.
Snowstriders meets from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. each Sunday afternoon at the Nine Mile Chalet. Equipment is provided. Enrollment in Snowstriders is free with a $25 Wausau Nordic Ski Club family membership.
