On Dec. 11, Herb Westlund of the Peplin VFW 8280 presented a $500 check for the Gold Star Mothers statue in Rothschild’s Veterans Memorial Park to Paul Gwidt, Commander of the American Legion Post 492, Rothschild, at the Veterans Weekly Cup of Coffee group meeting at Denny’s restaurant.
