Seven people were injured in a crash Sunday in Adams County involving a semi and a passenger van, according to authorities.

The crash was reported at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday on CTH Z and Hwy. 21 in the town of Strongs Prairie.

Multiple helicopters paged to Adams County semi crash

A preliminary investigation suggests a van carrying seven people was traveling north on CTH Z and collided with a westbound semi tractor trailer after failing to stop at a stop sign.

Five people were transported by medical helicopter to hospitals, while two were transported by ground. The injuries involved ranged from minor to severe, officials said, but current conditions have not been specified.

The names of the injured have not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
