Drivers Needed! Wausau Area Mobile Meals is looking for compassionate and caring individuals that enjoy meeting new people! They are currently looking for regular route drivers or substitute drivers. Call Doris at 715-848-5848 or [email protected].

Personal Shoppers or Stockers! The Neighbors’ Place shoppers help answer client questions and assist with shopping in our food pantry. This opportunity is ideal for those who want to connect with a diverse population and make a difference to someone in our community. YWCA Event Assistants.  Share the vision and help plan or facilitate upcoming events such as Flavors of Wausau, Women of Vision and Babysitting Rocks. Assist with these and other Lunch and Learn Series or educational events in 2020! Contact Joann at [email protected] or 715-842-3381.

Like Electronics? Assist with Good News Project’s e-cycling program Fridays anytime between 9-5 (even 1 hour commitments are helpful). Help sort scrap, lift heavy items and wrap pallets of electronics. Contact Bettina at 715-843-5985 or [email protected].

Environmental Education Stewards. Join Monk Botanical Gardens, year-round, to provide nature programs for children and adults. Topics include Youth Gardening, Nature Walks or other items of interest. Orientation, training and curriculum provided. Contact 715-261-6309 or [email protected].

In-Kind Donated Items Needed

Office supplies. White copy paper, colored copy paper, printable address label sheets (2 5/8″ 1″), stamps, etc. are very helpful to the Big Brothers Big Sisters. Contact Beth at 715-848-7207 or [email protected].

Newer Generation iPad.  The Good News Project has a new card reader and their old iPad doesn’t’ pair with it.  If you have an old iPad that is needing a new home, consider contacting Bettina at 715-843-5985 or [email protected].

Empty Shoe Boxes.  Faith in Action uses old shoe boxes to pack care packages for seniors in Marathon County during the holidays. They will begin collecting for next year now. So bring your empty shoe boxes to 630 Adams Street during Monday through Thursdays 9am – 2pm or contact Jamie at 715-848-8783 or [email protected].
