Information supplied by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department for the week ending Dec. 30, 2019:
A 50-year-old Gleason woman was cited Tuesday morning after a deputy investigated a vehicle in the ditch in the Town of Russell. The driver showed signs of impairment. She was cited for a first offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
At least two people were transported to Ascension Good Samaritan Health Center after a single vehicle crash on Wednesday in the Town of Russell. The crash was reported to 911 at 12:25 p.m., the incident happened off of Town Hall Road.
The number of deer crashes is much lower this week with four being reported.
