Richard Gorski
Richard E. Gorski, 85 of Ringle, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Pride TLC, Weston, under the care of Ascension Ministry Hospice.
He was born on October 15, 1934 in Bevent, son of the late Felix and Verna Gorski. He married Caroline Krause on May 23, 1959. She survives.
Richard was a Korean War Army veteran. He worked for the town of Ringle for many years. He also was a part of the Ringle Volunteer Fire Department. He was a devoted member of St. Agnes Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years. He was a talented leatherworker who enjoyed crafting leather purses for his family. Richard and Carol loved taking scenic drives in the fall, attending blackberry picking parties, riding their gator on the 40, and most of all, snowmobiling. Richard also enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife Caroline Gorski, Ringle; one brother, Marvin Gorski; one sister, Alvina Bramm; his sisters-in-law, Betty Baneck, Marian Kmiecik, and Mable Witz; 11 nieces and nephews; and his god-children, Joan Wawrzaszek and Todd Witz.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at St. Agnes Parish, 6101 Zinser St., Weston. The Rev. Gregory Bohren will officiate. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Rothschild, where military honors will be conducted. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9 AM until the time of mass at the church. Brainard Funeral Home – Everest Chapel, Weston is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lawrence Bargender
Lawrence J. Bargender, 86, died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at North Central Health Care Center, Wausau.
He was born July 26, 1933 in town of Frankfort, son of the late Joseph and Marie (Ellenbecker) Bargender. On October 8, 1953 he married Beth Schraufnagel in Abbotsford. She survives.
Lawrence worked as a farmer and after retirement drove school bus for 17 years. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball, pool and bowling. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially sheepshead. Lawrence loved spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events whenever he could.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Bargender; children, Debby (Paul) Berg, Mark (Bonnie) Bargender, Robyn (Dan) Kiefer, Beckie Knetter, Tracey (Larry) Lehman, Kristy Bargender, Shelly (Gerry) Guenther, Troy (Kathy) Bargender, Wendy (Ray) Chojnowski and April (Mark) Berg; grandchildren, Tyler (Mollie) Berg, Lincoln (Maria) Berg, Ryan (Brooke) Bargender, Joshua (Nikki) Bargender, Drew (Amy) Kiefer, Kody (Michelle) Kiefer, Travis (Gina) Knetter, Justin (Louise) Knetter, Morgan (Mitch) Mueller, Marshall (Brook) Lehman, Shay (girlfriend Michelle) Lehman, Reed (fiancé Cassie) Lehman, Blake (Miranda) Lehman, Courtney (Eric) Hartwig, Kyley Guenther, Whitney (boyfriend Mitch) Guenther, Nolan (fiancé Mandy) Bargender, Michael (girlfriend Tori) Bargender, Andrew (girlfriend Heather) Bargender, Clare Bargender, Alyssa Bargender, Logan (Sammy) Chojnowski, Cassidy (Erich) Schmitt, Austin (girlfriend Kassy) Chojnowski, Delaney (Brandon) Jinkins, Marlee (Andrew) Greco, Riley Berg and Mason Berg; 35 great-grandchildren; brothers, Urban Bargender and Clarence (Shirley) Bargender; brothers-in-law, Allen Schraufnagel and Noel (Darlene) Schraufnagel; sisters-in-law, Karin Hoffman, Lynda Graham and Trudee (Gus) Smith.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Katie Hart, Elaine Bargender, Bernadine Schlais, granddaughter, Jordyn Guenther, son-in-law, Glen Knetter, sister-in-law, Arlene Bargender, brothers-in-law, Cletus Hart and Virgil Schlais.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Thomas Huff will preside. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.

Delores Schueller
Dolores Schueller, 90, Edgar passed away peacefully at home with family at her side on Saturday, December 28, 2019.
She was born April 8, 1929 in the town of Cassel, daughter of the late Martin and Helen (Rodman) Skrzypcak. On October 6, 1948 she married George Schueller at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, town of Cassel. George was the love of her life. Their devotion to each other was the true meaning of love, “until death do us part”, for 65 years. It brings her family peace to know they are together again and she has no more pain.
Dolores was a homemaker, providing food and care for her family for many years, and yet she was so much more. As a devoted mother of 13 children, she instilled in them respect, honesty and her belief in God. She loved making homemade bread, a memory her family will always cherish. She was so proud of each of her children and loved them endlessly. She endured so much in her life but was so strong both inside and out. In her later years, she enjoyed reading the daily newspaper, watching EWTN and Jeopardy. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be forever loved and missed.
Survivors include her children, Ken (Nancy Schulz) Schueller, Mosinee, Kristine (Joe) Borchardt, Edgar, Carol (Wally) Jansen, Marathon, Linda (Jerry) Mroczenski, Sue (Del) Ballerstein, John Schueller, Donna (Brian) Bargender, all of Edgar, JoAnn (John) Schweitzer, Suamico, Angie (Mike) Hartnady, Edgar, Paul (Robyn) Schueller, Stratford, Cindy (Jason) Hepfler, Hudson, and Todd (Jennifer) Schueller, Mosinee; son-in-law, Dennis Borchardt, Woodbury, MN; 35 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Lillian Burish, Weston and Marvin (Kathy) Skrzypcak, Edgar and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, George, one daughter, Mary Borchardt and her siblings, Alex, Louis and Cecilia Skrzypcak.
The family is grateful for the compassionate care given to Dolores by Jeannie, Kaye, Ruth, Kim, Heather, Debra and Chris.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar, WI. There will be a parish rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the church. The Funeral Mass will be at noon, Friday, January 3, 2020 with Rev. Jesse Burish and Rev. Della Magdalena (Schult) Baker
Della M. Baker, 94, Wausau, died Friday, December 27, 2019 at Cady Homes, Wausau.
She was born May 29, 1925 in Wisconsin, daughter of the late Martin and Olga (Wiedow) Schult. On June 7, 1947, she married Richard Baker in Wisconsin Rapids. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2016.
Della was a dedicated support staff member at Wausau East High School for many years until her retirement. A job she truly loved. Following her retirement, she began making quilts by hand, and lovingly donated many of them to individuals and organizations in need.
Survivors include three children, Carrie (Tom) McNamara, Jonathan Baker and Christopher Baker; two grandchildren, Sarah McNamara and Evan (Nicole) McNamara; and three great-grandchildren, Katherine, Marina and Leilani.
Besides her parents and husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by six siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Christopher Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Village of Maine.
