WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW

Paco Fralick developed a deep appreciation of music at an early age while growing up in Rhinelander.

Though he spent more than two decades as a dentist, he ultimately returned to music and is now an award-winning singer and songwriter who performs his music throughout northern Wisconsin and beyond.

At 10 a.m. on  Thurs., Jan. 2, Wisconsin Public Radio presents an encore broadcast of “Route 51” with Fralick and host Shereen Siewert

Fralick will share his music and the stories behind the songs. Originally broadcast on July 11, 2019, Fralick performs a variety of selections from his album, Letting Go, which earned him a 2019 Silver Medal in the Global Music Awards.

Listen in to hear the 2018 Native American Music Awards Song of the Year, ‘Women and Water,’ inspired by his work with a grassroots environmental group, and learn about the connection between the earth and the songs Fralick creates.
