Ascension hospitals in Stevens Point and Weston have welcomed the first born babies of the new year.
Peyton Amber Eggebrecht was born to Kassidi Krutza and Gavin Eggebrecht of Amherst Junction at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 2 at St. Michael’s Hospital-Stevens Point. Peyton weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and is the couple’s first child.
William Joseph Dalbec was born to Jaclyn Dalbec and Zach Dalbec of Athens at 2:33 p.m. Jan. 1, 2020, at St. Clare’s Hospital-Weston. William weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and is the couple’s fifth child. He joins sisters Mary Lu, 8, Vanessa, 6, Amelia, 4, and brother Charlie, 5.
