WAUSAU — The Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art welcomes Carmelo Blandino of Naples, Florida, to Wausau this week with a reception for his solo exhibition of new paintings.
You can meet the artist at this free event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan 9 at 309 McClellan St., Wausau. Blandino will speak about his current work and its transformations. The event includes appetizers, refreshments and live music.
The show will run through March 28.
Museum hours are from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
