One person is injured in a single vehicle rollover crash reported Thursday afternoon on ice-slick roads near Wausau.
Crews from Hatley, Ringle and South Area Fire were called at about 1:40 p.m. to a report of a crash involving a pickup on Hwy. 29 near County Hwy. J.
The severity of the victim’s injuries is not yet clear.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reporting difficult road conditions on Thursday afternoon. As of 1:45 p.m. I-39 from Wausau to Portage, Hwy. 51 from Wausau to Merrill, and Hwy. 29 from Abbotsford to Wittenberg are all ice covered and slippery, according to the DOT.
