One person is dead following a snowmobile crash in Langlade County, officials said in a news release.

The crash was reported at about 11:15 p.m. Saturday near Price-Neva Road and Brynes Road in the town of Price.

When emergency crews responded to the scene, they discovered the victim, a 56-year-old man from Bryant, Wis., without a pulse. Rescue workers attempted CPR and transported the man to Aspirus Langlade Hospital.

The victim was then flown to Aspirus Wausau Hospital for treatment. The man died on Monday of his injuries, police said.

Police say the victim, whose name has not yet been released, was alone when the snowmobile crashed.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Resources.
