One person is dead and two people are injured following a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Adams County, according to police.
The crash was reported at 5:36 p.m. on Hwy. 13 at Cottonville Avenue in the Adams County town of Preston.
An initial investigation shows a car with two people inside was traveling at a high rate of speed when the vehicle collided with a truck, police said.
A passenger inside the car was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles were transported to a local hospital. The severity of their injuries was not specified.
Adams County officials say impaired driving could have contributed to the crash, which remains under investigation.
No names have been released.
