Officials say the body of a man was recovered Monday after fire destroyed a Neillsville home.
The blaze was reported just before 3 a.m. Monday at a home on the corner of Emery and East 12th Streets.
The home was engulfed in flames by the time fire crews arrived at the scene. Firefighters spent about 30 minutes extinguishing the blaze.
There’s no word yet on the cause of the blaze. The victim’s name has not been released.
