WAUSAU — The Central Wisconsin Chinese New Year Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 25 at Marathon Park East Gate Hall on Stewart Avenue in Wausau.
Events highlighting Chinese culture will be held throughout the day and include a Lion Dance by the Zhong Yi Kung Fu Association, one of the few United States-based, internationally recognized Lion Dance troops.
The festival also will feature live entertainment, food vendors, cooking demonstrations, Mandarin language lessons, and crafts celebrating the new year.
