Fire crews responded Friday to a report of a fire in Wausau where heavy smoke was reportedly pouring from a detached garage on the city’s west side.
Crews were dispatched just after noon to the home, which is on South 12th Avenue near Lake Street in Wausau.
Firefighters spent about 30 minutes extinguishing the blaze.
There’s no word yet on the cause of the fire.
