The village of Weston and city of Schofield have issued a snow removal emergency to be effective from 10 p.m. today, Jan. 17, through 6 a.m. Jan. 19.

During this time, no vehicle may be left parked, stopped or standing on any public street or alley. Any vehicle found parked, stopped or standing in violation may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Wausau also has a snow emergency in effect from 11 p.m. Jan. 17 to 11 p.m. Jan. 18.
