At least one person is injured and a portion of Hwy. 17 is closed to traffic Monday after a two-vehicle rollover crash.
The crash was reported at about 12:45 p.m. Monday in the town of Merrill. Initial scanner reports indicate one person was trapped inside a vehicle that flipped.
Wausau Fire was asked to remain on standby.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation reports the highway is closed at Norwegian Road and at Barnes Creek Road. There’s no word yet on when the road will reopen.
