Bus Route Companions. Ride the bus and sign students in, as it picks up Boys & Girls Club members from school enroute to the club. Volunteers are needed at least once a week Monday-Wednesday or Friday between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Contact Mao at 715-845-2582, ext. 213, or [email protected].
Digitization Assistance. The Marathon County Historical Society is looking for people to take old photos, maps and documents and convert them to digitized form. In-Kind Donated Items Needed
Boys Undergarments—Briefs, Boxers, T-shirts. Bare Necessities is a project of the Workplace Volunteer Council which collects and distributes new undergarments to families in need. Men, women and children’s undergarments (briefs, boxers, T-shirts and panties) are needed in all sizes and quantities. Boys Size 2T, 3T and 4T is especially needed right now! Polar Plunge Equipment and Tools. The Wisconsin Special Olympics would like to borrow or attain the following items: snow shovel, sand shovel, fence post drivers, tools to construct scaffolding, a small step ladder and assorted screw drivers, hammers and small power drills.
